DiSanto, Priest & Co. Participates in Moms of Marieville Gift Drive

December 2021 – For the second year in a row, the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation participated in a holiday gift drive organized by the Moms of Marieville, a food pantry in North Providence. The DiSanto, Priest & Co. team was able to support five families, and aid in a total of 12 children receiving gifts for holidays. This year, the Moms of Marieville cited increased need, and even had to turn some families away, so we know these gifts went a long way in helping these individuals. See below for some pictures of all the gifts that were donated — we’re immensely proud of our team for the generosity!

DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation Participates in Meeting Street Telethon, Honors Nick Cardi

January 25, 2020 – Providence, RI – The charitable arm of DiSanto, Priest & Co., the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation, was honored to participate in the annual Meeting Street Telethon in recognition of both Meeting Street’s 73 years of service, and in special recognition of Nick Cardi, a dear friend of both DiSanto, Priest & Co. and Meeting Street.

The Meeting Street Telethon, an annual event sponsored by DiSanto, Priest & Co. client, Cardi’s Furniture and Mattresses, raised money and awareness for Meeting Street, an organization committed to child development and education in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. DiSanto, Priest & Co. team members Eric Banville, Gina DeVecchis, Tracy Greco, Art Lambi, and Marcia Sauro volunteered their time to take calls from donors during the event.

Nick, the eldest of the Cardi brothers, lost his courageous battle with cancer in 2019 and was a passionate and tireless supporter of Meeting Street, in addition to a longtime friend of DiSanto, Priest & Co. To honor his legacy, the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation was pleased to contribute a donation of $10,000 to Meeting Street in special recognition of Nick Cardi during the Telethon event.

“Over the 15+ years since our firm has had the pleasure of working with the Cardi brothers and forming a lasting and vibrant relationship, we have witnessed first-hand Nick’s passion for Meeting Street and the good work it does in our Rhode Island Community,” said Emilio N. Colapietro, Managing Partner of DiSanto, Priest & Co. “We were honored to support that mission and honor our friend Nick’s memory.”

The DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation is proud to honor Nick and the Cardi family. To learn more about the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation, click here.

Save the Bay Clean-Up

Wednesday, August 8, 2018

In August of 2018, the Bentley Foundation organized a community service day for DiSanto, Priest & Co. where the entire firm participated in a Save the Bay (Narragansett Bay) beach cleanup program at Fisherman’s Memorial/Camp Cronin Area.  Our team, despite working in very humid conditions with temperatures exceeding 95 degrees, was able to collect over 500lbs of refuse from the beach and surrounding area, helping to ensure that the area is safe and clean for both visitors and native wildlife.  As a reward for the team’s efforts, DiSanto, Priest & Co. provided lunch and refreshments at George’s of Galilee after the cleanup.  As you can tell from looking at the below photos, much fun was had by all.
