DiSanto, Priest & Co.’s charitable arm, the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation, donated $500 to Hope & Main’s new food access program called “Nourish Our Neighbors”. This contribution aligns with the Foundation’s mission to provide opportunities to charitable organizations that positively impact the community through volunteer efforts, hospitality, and financial support.

The Nourish Our Neighbors program was created specifically to help feed local families and seniors in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Funded by donations from local businesses and individuals, it plans to prepare and distribute 300 meals per week through its affiliate companies. Altogether, the goal is to provide 1,500 wholesome, re-heatable meals to the local community by mid-May.

Prior to launching this initiative, Hope & Main partnered with the Bristol Warren Regional School District to serve as a meal distribution site for children affected by the loss of the school’s breakfast and lunch programs. After serving hundreds of students, the Organization aspired to make a larger impact in the community and created the Nourish Our Neighbors program to reach more of its Rhode Island “neighbors”.
