On Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Providence, RI, the charitable arm of DiSanto, Priest & Co., the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation, was honored to participate in the annual Meeting Street Telethon in recognition of both Meeting Street’s 73 years of service, and in special recognition of Nick Cardi, a dear friend of both DiSanto, Priest & Co. and Meeting Street.

The Meeting Street Telethon, an annual event sponsored by DiSanto, Priest & Co. client, Cardi’s Furniture and Mattresses, raised money and awareness for Meeting Street, an organization committed to child development and education in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. DiSanto, Priest & Co. team members Eric Banville, Gina DeVecchis, Tracy Greco, Art Lambi, and Marcia Sauro volunteered their time to take calls from donors during the event.

Nick, the eldest of the Cardi brothers, lost his courageous battle with cancer in 2019 and was a passionate and tireless supporter of Meeting Street, in addition to a longtime friend of DiSanto, Priest & Co. To honor his legacy, the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation was pleased to contribute a donation of $10,000 to Meeting Street in special recognition of Nick Cardi during the Telethon event.

“Over the 15+ years since our firm has had the pleasure of working with the Cardi brothers and forming a lasting and vibrant relationship, we have witnessed first-hand Nick’s passion for Meeting Street and the good work it does in our Rhode Island Community,” said Emilio N. Colapietro, Managing Partner of DiSanto, Priest & Co. “We were honored to support that mission and honor our friend Nick’s memory.”

The DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation is proud to honor Nick and the Cardi family. To learn more about the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation, click here.
