We are very proud to say that DiSanto, Priest & Co. and its employees support the fundraising efforts of the Foundation in a number of ways. Employees have the option to make after-tax contributions to the Foundation through convenient payroll deductions. DiSanto, Priest & Co. matches 100% of these employee contributions. Furthermore, at the suggestion of our members, the Foundation raises funds through internal events such as dress down days, game nights, bake sales, contests, golf tournaments etc., and supports numerous nonprofits in Rhode Island through external fundraising events like road races and bike rallies. Those funds are then redistributed to RI charities approved by the Foundation Board in the form of cash, advertising, or other support on behalf of the Foundation.

Since our inception in August 2006, we have donated over $681,500. This year, we’re honored to be the chair for the American Heart Association’s Heart of Southern New England Heart Ball. DiSanto, Priest & Co. has volunteered to spearhead this year’s goal of raising $400,000 and will lead community-wide efforts to help ensure every individual in Southern New England has the opportunity for a full, healthy life.

Our connection to the American Heart Association’s mission is deeply personal. Several of our staff members have close family members who are heart disease survivors, bearing testament to the life-saving work of the American Heart Association.
