We are searching for individuals with 0-3 years of professional public accounting experience to join our audit department. Responsibilities Include

  • Serving on audit teams completing corporate audits and reviews
  • Under the supervision of more experienced staff, perform audit and review test work procedures
  • Preparation of audit and review workpapers by performing both substantive and analytic procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships showing ability to meet deadlines

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelors in Accounting, MST or MPAc a plus
  • CPA certification preferable, but not required
  • 0-3 years of experience in an audit role with a public accounting firm
  • Understanding of GAAP and GAAS; research capabilities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CCH Engagement and CCH Axcess Document programs a plus
  • Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities Include

  • Preparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns including multi-state and consolidated returns
  • Review of tax returns completed by staff
  • Assist in designing tax planning strategies for clients
  • Conducting research of federal and state issues
  • Managing, developing, training, and mentoring of staff
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships including managing expectations and meeting deadlines

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelors in accounting, MST a plus
  • CPA certification preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm
  • Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ProFx Tax, Engagement, and Document a plus

  • Manage multiple engagements including compliance, consulting, and tax planning services
  • Develop tax planning strategies for clients
  • Serve as a lead in researching federal and state issues
  • Manage financial performance of engagements including budgets, billings, and collections
  • Develop and sustain excellent client relationships
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor senior and staff accountants
  • Assist in managing internal tax department
  • Contribute to marketing and business development activities

Education/Skills/Experience

  • CPA certification required, MST preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm
  • Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ProFx Tax, Engagement, and Document a plus
