This is a full-time position that will work out of our Warwick, RI office.
Responsibilities Include
- Work one-on-one with clients on a variety of accounting, business, and tax matters
- Perform general accounting services utilizing new and emerging accounting applications
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card activity, accounts payables, receivables and other general ledger accounts
- Knowledge of the processing of payroll and completion of sales tax returns
- Preparation of business and personal income tax returns
Education/Skills/Experience
- 1+ years of experience working in private or public accounting
- Experience using QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA candidate preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work effectively in both a team environment as well as at client locations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to embrace changing technology
- General business knowledge

We are searching for individuals with 0-1 years of professional public accounting experience to join our tax department who will have the opportunity to work with privately owned businesses and high net worth individuals. Responsibilities Include
- Preparation of complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust estate and gift tax returns including multi-state and consolidated returns
- Assist in designing tax planning strategies for clients
- Conducting research of federal and state tax issues
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships including managing expectations and meeting deadlines
Education/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, MST a plus
- CPA certification preferable
- 0-1 years of experience in a tax role/tax internship with a public accounting firm
- Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Axcess Document and CCH Engagement a plus
