| Charities and Causes Supported
During the course of the year, at the suggestion of our members, the Foundation raises funds through internal events such as bake sales, contests, golf tournaments etc. and supports numerous external fundraising events like road races and bike rallies. Those funds are then redistributed to charities approved by the Foundation Board in the form of cash, advertising or other support on behalf of the Foundation.
Since our inception we have donated over $37,000 to the following organizations: Hearts of Love National Multiple Sclerosis Society Ronald McDonald House First Congregational Church, Lee Denim Day – Breast Cancer Research The Big Brothers of Rhode Island, Inc.
