Our Principals

 

Our Principals are our future as well as yours. These dedicated and accomplished individuals are skilled in varying areas of expertise and will continue to grow within our organization and as a resource to our clients.

Lori J. Conaty, CPA/PFS

Lori is a Principal in DiSanto Priest & Co. Lori has over twenty years of experience in public accounting. She was previously a Principal with the accounting firm of Pirolli, Deller & Conaty. She specializes in tax planning, retirement planning, individual and corporate tax compliance, financial statement services and consulting services for privately held businesses, their owners and high net worth individual clients.

 

Lori is a 1989 graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. She has attained the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) accreditation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

 

Lori is a member of the AICPA and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has been active in local mentoring programs. She is the President of the Board of Directors of The Bentley Foundation and is a former Vice President of Big Sisters of RI.

Jacqueline B. Gaipo, CPA, MST

Jacqueline B. Gaipo is a Principal and Director of Tax Planning and Compliance. She has over twenty years of experience in public accounting. Jackie concentrates in tax, financial reporting and consulting services for privately-held businesses and individuals.

Jackie received her undergraduate degree from Bryant University with a concentration in accounting as well as a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Bryant University.

Jackie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Peter M. Gervais, CPA, CFP®, MST

Peter M. Gervais is a Principal in the tax department of DiSanto, Priest & Co. Mr. Gervais has eleven years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax services for privately-held businesses and high net worth individuals.

Peter received his undergraduate degree from Bryant University with a concentration in accounting as well as a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Bryant University. He has further continued his professional education by attaining the designation of Certified Financial Planner.

Peter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Robert P. Gessman, CPA/PFS, MST

Rob Gessman is a Principal in the Tax Department of DiSanto, Priest & Co. Rob has over twenty years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in tax, financial reporting, consulting services for various privately-held businesses, and individual clients.

Rob received an undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont with a concentration in accounting and a minor in computer science as well as a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Bryant University and has attained the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) accreditation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

 

Rob is a member of the AICPA and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been active on numerous not-for-profit boards throughout New England and is a member of the Rotary Club of Providence. Rob has also served on the audit committee for the City of Cranston. Currently he serves as the Treasurer for East Greenwich Lacrosse Association, the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence and the Providence Street Painting Festival. Additionally, Rob was integral in the creation and current operations of The Bentley Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization formed on behalf of DiSanto, Priest & Co. and affiliates. David Ward, CPA

David Ward is a Principal with DiSanto, Priest & Co. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax and financial reporting and planning services for various corporate and individual clients.

 

David received an undergraduate degree from Bryant University with a concentration in accounting.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.
